We both did Neil's bread course on 1st October 2011 and had a fantastic day. Neil is very passionate and enthusiastic in all aspects of bread making and this led to a most interesting day. We baked lots of different types of bread and learnt so much from Neil. We would recommend it for first time bread makers and someone with some previous experience. Our friends and family all enjoyed sampling the bread that we baked.

Was lucky enough to go on one of Neil's one to one bread making courses on Saturday. It was a great experience and I came away with a very different approach to baking bread and feeling a lot more adventurous! We covered lots of different types of bread and even made our own pizza for lunch. Neil is a great tutor, allowing you to do your own work but spotting where improvement needed and passing on his advice. Would highly recommend this for novice and experienced bakers alike! The results were great and you get to take some away with you too. A great day!

Chriss and I completed the one day course recently and were both surprised at how simple bread making can be. Neils straightforward teaching approach made it a fun and enjoyable day. We left with not only new skills, but a whole batch of assorted loaves. We reckon the course is the best thing since sliced bread !

I did the bread course on 28 Nov, and have deliberately delayed posting so I could try out the recipes first - and I can report great success!! The course really gave me confidence (after 18 months of trying on my own, with not very good results), and every loaf I have made since has been perfectly edible (not always the case previously!). Have now reached the stage where I can play about with the proving times to alter the texture - how cool is that!!

Hi, I booked a bread making course as a surprise birthday present for my husband, using this very easy webpage. Contacts with Neil were very prompt and personal. My husband returned after his day with such excitement and confidence, as well as so many different types of bread, (I don't know how they had the time!), the results of which tasted yummy!

I have just completed the one day bread course which was great, from the first cup of coffee to leaving with a box of goodies(which the family greatly appreciated). The day went very quickly but we achieved a lot. I certainly learnt a new way of making bread, so much easier. Roll on the next course!!!

Having completed and enjoyed the 6 week evening cookery course, (and I agree with Ann, the flatbreads and hummus were absolutely the best!!), I recently did the one day bread making course. It was brilliant! We giggled from start to finish, had a lovely lunch and still managed to produce a box each of delicious breads. Neil's notes,tuition and professional tips were excellent and his methods so simple. Thank you Neil. Best Wishes Stella.

I have just finished the cookery course with Neil and would recommend it to anyone. It was great fun and informative. Neil had great patience with us all, I learnt a lot. The hummus and flat bread are to die for!!! I am now looking forward to doing the bread course. Thank you Neil.
